[Actually getting camp set up was another adventure but it worked out in the end because the boys were exhausted, there was a whole new hunk of toad to put over the fire and Gladio was covered in slime and all manner of drying crusting grossness by the time the fire was set and tent pitched and he was finally able to tell them to mind their own business. They hadn't been standing in the mud with the damn gigantoad when Noct had chucked a thundara at it. He ached and was tired and couldn't wait to find somewhere to clean up and relax a little.

But he was able to find a shallow pool, rocks lining the bottom and sides with just enough crystal in it to shimmer and sparkle and reflect the sunlight so both stones and water were warm this late in the afternoon. A quick scrub and then yeah he's just going to sprawl out against a warm smooth rock and let the heat soak into his muscles.
